Ephraim is the white village on Eagle Harbor, north of Fish Creek: Anderson Dock, a Moravian waterfront, and a lot of seasonal piers that photograph well in July and sit wrong after ice. It is not Fish Creek with a different church. The harbor is its own water, the park sits on one side, and the fetch off Green Bay is a different angle than the Fish Creek slips.
Door County Dock & Lift is seasonal install and removal, repair, boat lifts, and shore stations for the peninsula. Local 920 number goes here once the tenant is on the phone.
Why docks fail in Ephraim
Eagle Harbor looks protected. Ice still fills it. A south or west blow still stacks. Seasonal frames that stay in too late twist. Shore stations that were level on a calm August weekend sit racked after a seiche. Anderson Dock is a landmark, not your private pier, and village/harbor rules still apply to what we can set and when.
Peninsula State Park’s east side is next to this village. Lots that feel “in Ephraim” can be park-adjacent, steep, or water-access. Tell us how you actually get a section to the shore. A pretty village street does not equal a truck turnaround.
This is still Green Bay, not Lake Michigan. If your family also has a place at Baileys Harbor, that is a different page and a different ice story. Do not buy one quote and assume it covers both shores.
